As a spicy food fan and a gardener, I've always grown a lot of hot peppers. Some years ago, after I had made enough hot sauces and salsas to last me years, I thought I should make my own chile powder to use up some of these peppers. It turned out SO much better than anything I'd purchased in the grocery store or online! I started making chile powders from a variety of peppers. At the time just for use at home and for friends and family. The turning point was when I started dehydrating peppers in a wood fired smoker. Crazy Good!! The demand was so high I started Smoking Hot Chile Powders LLC. This website was created to offer these hand crafted, small batch, chile powders to other spicy food fans. I hope you enjoy! All our chiles are organically grown from non-GMO seeds right in the heartland of the USA! All prepared and packaged by hand to ensure the upmost quality!
